Antwerp Open 2016

Information

The Antwerp Open 2016 speedcubing competition will be held on Saturday May 7th. There will be room for 50 competitors.
The registration fee will be 8 euros for the whole day, or 5 euros if you only compete in the 3x3 event. Guests can come for free.
Registration closes on Saturday April 30th, or when we reach 50 competitors.

This competition is organized by Bruno Vervoort and Tiemen de Meester. If you have any questions, feel free to send an email to bruno-vervoort@hotmail.com.

During the competition, the official World Cube Association regulations will be applied. Make sure you are familiar with them before you attend the competition. They can be found here: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/

If you are under the age of 18, ask permission to your parents first before you register.

The venue is located in the cantina of the school. There will be free parking.

ATTENTION: The entrance of venue is located at the back of the building, at Rubenslei, so not at the main entrance of the school.

How to get there

The venue is located in the center of Antwerp, which makes it easily accessible by both car and public transportation.

- By car: If you come by car, you can park for free in the underground parking lot of the school, which is located at the Louiza-Marialei.

- By train: Take the train to Anwerpen-Centraal. From there on, it is a 15 minute walk to the venue. For more information, please visit www.belgianrail.be, and fill out Antwerpen-Centraal as your destination.

- Other public transportation: By tram: You can take trams 12 and 24, and get off at stop Antwerpen Stadspark, which is situated just across the school.
There are also plenty of other trams and buses that stop at Franklin Rooseveltplaats, from which on it is only a 10 minute walk to the venue. For more information, please visit www.delijn.be, and fill out Antwerpen Stadspark or Franklin Rooseveltplaats as you destination.
